Non-Fried Puff Snack Making Process
Cereal flour (corn, rice, wheat, starch, etc.) are heated, cooked, and kneaded in a specially designed extruder cavity, and finally through the change of high pressure or thermal gradient at the outlet, the vapor pressure escapes from the micropores of the grain structure, thereby realizing puffing. And then the puffs are cut into the required size by the fast rotating cutter (or cut after shaping process). By the time, the plain puffed snack production is done. According to market demand, seasoning drums can be used to sprinkle salt and sugar on the plain puffed snack. Finally, it goes through medium temperature drying and seasoning process. There is no frying in the whole production process.
