I. Introduction of Fried Wavy Chips
Baked wavy multigrain chips are made with a variety of grains, including whole corn flour, whole wheat flour, black rice flour and whole oat flour. Since whole grain flour has more fiber, it needs to be preconditioned before cooking and extrusion. Then under certain temperature and pressure in the extruder machine, the cereal dough is through cooking, kneading, stretching, and forming to become long strip extrudates with waves. Long wavy extrudates are then cut to the desired lengths and we get the semi-finished wavy chips. Then through the continuous frying machine, the semi-finished wavy chips are fried during conveying. The continuous fryer is connected with a vibration deoiler to reduce the amount of residual oil on the chips. Finally, the production is completed through seasoning and packing.
