I. Introduction of Center Filled Corn Pads

Filled Corn Pads are made through adding the chocolate or milk filling process on the basis of extrusion process.

After the cereal dough is cooked and kneaded under certain pressure, temperature and shear, it is extruded through the die of the snack extruder machine to form the outer puffed shell of the corn pads. The die is especially designed. In the center between the inlet and outlet of the die, there is a center-injection channel. Therefore, while the cereal dough is being extruded and formed through the die, at the same time, a center filling machine inkjects the chocolate/milk slurry into the ceter of the extrudate.

  • By skipping the center injection machine and changing corresponding conveying path, this snacks making machine can make ordinary puffed snacks. So simple operation and maintenance.

Flexibility

  • Twin screw snack food extruder machine is suitable for a wide range of grain raw materials: processing viscous, oily, sticky or very wet material and some other products. And the processable grain sizes are from fine powder to coarse granules.
  • The mold can be replaced onsite to produce puffed pads of different shapes and sizes. The cereal puff surface texture can be either frosted or smooth.
  • Injection molds are suitable for fillings of various colors or flavors: syrup, honey syrup, jam, milk, chocolate sauce.
