I. Introduction of Oven Baked Wavy Chips

Baked wavy multigrain chips are made with a variety of grains, including whole corn flour, whole wheat flour, black rice flour and whole oat flour. Since whole grain flour has more fiber, it needs to be preconditioned before cooking and extrusion. Then under certain temperature and pressure in the extruder machine, the cereal dough is through cooking, kneading, stretching, and forming to become long strip extrudates with waves. Long wavy extrudates are then cut to the desired lengths. Depending on the hourly output and baking time, the oven is designed as single or multi-level. By setting the baking temperature and baking time, the chips are properly baked. Finally, the production is completed through the seasoning and packing processes.
